Meet Rivky Steen, LPC
My Story
Ever since I was young, I knew that I wanted to help others. As I grew up, I got my Masters Degree in Audiology which I never used! I spent the next 17 years as an office manager and raising my 7 kids. I eventually followed my drive and passion to go back to college (yes, my husband was a little crazy to support me in this!) and earn my Masters degree in Mental Health and Hygeine.
Today I am a self-described nerd about trauma and loss, and take any trainings I can! When I’m not at the office I’m taking care of my energetic family. I enjoy all the great chaos this involves! I’m also traveling, spending time in nature, and hanging out with my family and friends. I am a strong advocate of self-care, and spend “me-time” meeting up with my friends, enjoying nature, and reading. And most of all, I love my morning cup of coffee!
